Discounts Restrictions

Overview

Limit how many discount codes can be used at a time and exclude discount codes from being used with other discounts or from being stacked with other discounts. This ensures you don’t over discount your sales.

Steps

Go to App > Restrictions page

• Discount codes limit field:
  In this field, you can specify the maximum number of discount codes that can be used at one order.

• Set a maximum discounts value:
  You can set a maximum discount value a customer cannot exceed get per order even if they enter multiple discount codes. It can be a percentage or a fixed amount.

• Override Shopify automatic discount:
  You can make the discount code overrides Shopify automatic discount by checking this box. If you didn’t check this box, your customers will get both the discount code(s) and Shopify automatic discount.

• Excluded Discounts field:
  Exclude discount codes from being used with any other discount codes.
  For example, if you don’t want Welcome discount code to be combined with other discounts, add it to the field as shown below.

• Excluded discounts from being used together field:
  Exclude discount codes from being used with each other.
  For example, if you don’t want 20%OFF and SUMMER SALE discount codes to be combined with each other, add them to a set as shown below.
